Boom Pow! NEW at Kellybell Designs

Oooh! Aaah! Isn't that what we always say when we're watching fireworks? They're just so mesmorizing and colorful. Whether it's Fourth of July, New Year's Eve, the Super Bowl or Disney, fireworks are just plain cool!! And Disney certainly knows how to throw a great fireworks party. Wishes at Magic Kingdom has been delighting millions since it debuted to the public on October 9, 2003. With over 1,200 fireworks shooting off each night, that's a lotta Oohs and Aahs! Today, Kelly has a new kit that captures all those magical sparkles called...

Boom Pow!

'Boom Pow!' was inspired by the elaborate Disney firework shows. This kit has all the essentials for scrapping the perfect fireworks layout. Q. How did you get into Digital Scrapbooking?

I started as a paper scrapper after my oldest daughter was born in 2002...I loved it, but realized how expensive the papers/kits/embellishments could get..plus, I could never keep up with printing the photos, etc. I decided to take a digital class with Jessica Sprague.com in 2007 (after meeting her at a convention for paper scrapping that year) and I was HOOKED! SO much easier to have immediate access to my digital photos and such amazing designs in the digi world. And I don't have to clean up a mess of paper, just close my laptop! I just love digi scrappin'!

Q. What brought you to Kellybell Designs?

After taking our little girls to Disney World for the first time last spring (2010) I was hunting for the perfect Disney scrapbook digi supplies to create a scrapbook. I found out about Kellybell, and just adored her designs! I bought a big stash,, and got started! Then, I was jumping up and down when I heard about her CT call last year, and I applied right away! When she announced I was part of her team, I was over the moon!

Q. What has been your best moment as a member of Kelly's Team?

Honestly, I feel like Kelly and my fellow CT members are like a little family -- it's one of the first places I check in on line each day, and also the last at night...the ladies are SO supportive of each other, in our everyday lives and in our scrappin'-giving us amazing feedback on our pages. I love them all! Plus, it is SO fun when you see that new link from Kelly with the latest kit...you know how you feel when you get a package in the mail that you've been waiting for?! It's even better!

Q. In addition to being a member of the team .. tell us a little about you.

I'm a wife to an amazing hubby, we celebrated 10 years of marriage last October! We are blessed with two little girls, age 8 and 4 (almost 5 in a month!) They are my inspiration for scrapbooking..as you probably see on my blog each week. We live in the same little town where I grew up...a great place to raise a family. I work full time as the head of public relations at a private college, which is really fun. I used to be a TV news producer before going into the PR world. My husband still works at the TV station where we met. Oh, and my husband says I'm obsessed with finding a way to get back to Disney sooner rather than later!

Q. What is by far your favorite kit here at Kellybell Designs?

If you had all these wonderful Kellybell kits to choose from, could you decide? What a tough choice to make! Since I have two little girls, I love the princess kits, but I also remember LOVING the feeling of designing my page with the new "Hooray for Hollywood" kit that Kelly recently released! I wanted to use every embellishment I could!

I decided to create a brand new page with my Fantasmic pictures and freebie for you with it! ( I did use a purple paper and black and purple flowers from "Happy Haunting" from Kellybell!)

We LOVED riding Pirates of the Caribbean...several times in fact. It was so nice that there was never a long line when we were there...I remember about 10 years ago, waiting in a LONG line into the caverns. My girls loved running into the tunnels...The above photos of Capt. Jack were from one of my dear friends during her trip a month after us! We came out of the ride and the Cap'n was just finishing up his show...and we caught a few moments, but I never got photos! So, Thanks Denise!

This was such a fun moment to capture, because not only was it the first time we were taking the girls to Disney World, but it was also their first time on an airplane! I loved capturing the look of anticipation...and they were both such amazing travelers. A direct flight to Orlando was perfect, too!

Once we got to the airport, we followed the Magical Express signs right to the pickup for Disney World! I snapped this photo of my hubby and girls while we waiting in our line for the Coronado Springs bus...and a nice gentleman who was finishing his Disney vacation came up to us, and said "you look like a nice family...I am done with my week at Disney, and I wanted to make sure someone could use these fastpasses!" We weren't sure how they worked at first, because a lot of them didn't have specific times or attractions on them like we were used to, but they were amazing because they gave us access to any rides at ANY time in each park. Talk about "paying it forward!"
