Greg...this one is for you!

So....yes, I can officially be called a bad blogger. It has been since Thanksgiving that I have posted--a blog no-no! I can say that I really enjoyed the holiday season...and I decided that the blog was something that I love to do, but something that could be given a little hiatus to keep me sane during the days leading up to Christmas. Yet, I forgot about my faithful blog readers like my brother in law Greg...thank you for sticking with me! Here is to jumping on the blog bandwagon for 2010!

There are just a couple days left in 2009....we're on Christmas break from school, both the girls and me! I LOVE having 2 weeks off from work to rejuvenate, and I could seriously get used to it!

Today, the girls and I picked up Gramma G. and headed to see the "Squeakquel" with Alvin and the Chipmunks! It was adorable! We found the "Get Munked" site when we got home...and the girls could create their own chipmunk and add their voice!

So, our other big news is that we are "GOING TO DISNEY WORLD~"


We surprised the girls on Christmas morning by hanging a Mickey Mouse ornament on the tree that hadn't been there before...and a note attached. It was Mickey as Bob Cratchit in "Mickey's Christmas Carol"--which is one of the girls' favorite Christmas books.


Anna thought that the Mickey and Minnie I'd wrapped up to hold the "Surprise" sign was her present and she was happy as a clam hugging them! Here is a play by play of the surprise in photos!

We are staying at Disney's "Coronado Springs" resort and it looks beautiful--complete with a Mayan pyramid in the swimming pool! We've already booked a Princess Breakfast at Cinderella's Castle on the first full day there and dinner at Chef Mickey's for the last night...where the girls will meet Mickey and the gang.
