I heart St. Patrick's Day!

It's only one week to a fav little holiday in our household..St. Patricks Day!

We love celebrating our Irish heritage...we're not full Irish, but 1/2 or more! That's good enough for me!

So, one little tradition we do, is go get some "truly Irish" Shamrock Shakes at McDonald's!

It was perfect timing for this new rockin' kit from Tanya at Crossbone Cuts! I LOVE the colors and those shamrocks and elements....just perfect!!

Here is the fun page I made! (I even loved posing the shake by my favorite new St. Paddy's Day decoration--the wooden Shamrock with the crow on top! I am NOT a fan of crows in real life...but for some reason love the country primitive crows LOL)

Realizing I'm a Country Girl

So, I live in a tiny little quaint village, the same one I actually grew up in....but I live in the village, so never considered myself a "country girl." But, when I was creating a layout with some fav pics of me and my girls...I realized, yes, that country girl moniker isn't so far off! My village is still in county where I just drive out of the village limits and there are cows and fields, and horses...I wouldn't trade my hometown for anything :)

I created this "Country Girl" layout for More in Store Monday at Jessica Sprague!

I'm working with the fabulous designs of Carina Gardner and I used her NEW Photo Mask Mega Collection!

I also used her Well Traveled Mega Collection~

Kellybell You've Got A Friend Challenge!

Kelly's got a new blog challenge for the month of March up on her blog. This month's theme is called 'You've Got A Friend'. It's all about Toy Story and the fun rides and characters at Disney. You can find several kits that are just perfect for scrapping a layout with your Toy Story friends.

Here's all the rules and instructions to play:

• Scrap your best Toy Story layout using 100% Kellybell products and freebies (you are allowed to use a template from another designer)


• Post your layout into the Challenges Gallery at Kellybell Designs by midnight EST March 31st


• Follow these 3 instructions: Layouts must contain at least 2 Toy Story related photos. Include 3 or more stars. Include at least 1 word art title, tag or journal strip.


• Have fun and get creative scrapping a page with the Toy Story Friends (either from a Toy Story ride, parade, shopping, or character meet and greet). Feel free to mix and match from any of Kellybell's products or freebies.

Two winners will be selected and announced the first week of April. One winner will be chosen at random so all participants have a chance to win. The second winner will be selected as the most outstanding layout. Both winners will receive a gift certificate to Kellybell Designs store.

Pixie Dust and Dates at Kellybell Designs!

When you're scrapping a Disney layout, it's almost automatic to add in a little pixie dust. Sometimes that's a dainty little trail or a bigger scatter. I think Tinker Bell would be so thrilled to know that there's all kinds of mixtures of pixie dust to sprinkle on your layouts. The more sparkle, the better!! Kelly's got a new set of larger pixie dust scatters today. Take a look.

Just like adding pixie dust to your layouts, adding a date should be automatic too. It's handy to have lots of different ways to put a date to your page. Kelly's got some adorable date tags today to include in your scrapping stash. These can be easily recolored and stacked. The cutouts on top include a Mickey head, a star and a heart.
